A ‘personal almanac,’ this book is excessively hilarious; one part McSwenney’s content-as-design, one part Ripley’s Believe it Or Not, Hodgman’s cover, designed by Sam Potts, is an extension of the odd formats and humor found within. An excerpt from inside the cover flap: ”...the areas of my experties is an upgrade to the library of Alexandria and the internet, offering improvements in security, accuracy, and awesomeness.”
Yeh Chris, I like this one. Very Dr. Bronners in its appearance, eh. I enjoy the discoveries in the copy. I’m all about vast amounts of texture. Looks and probably is quirky, huh…appropriate to the general topic.
