Image, coloring and typography are all nicely done… until you get to the author’s name. The condensed, upper/lower font treatment, the wide and off-kilter gap between first and last names, strike me as inconsistent and odd. Wouldn’t simply a larger point size have been done the trick of distinguishing this name? Maybe picking up the color used for the title?
the author name is the size it is (along with the smaller title) to reinforce and help define the triangle shape of the arms which all leads to the visual focal point up top. overall a nice job.
