Whether your agree with the politics, or not, you’ve got to appreciate this for its brilliant simplicity.

Love this cover!

Its perfect. It says it all in two simple symbols.

I love that he’s looking to the right. A nice second read.

Marc Escobosa, 2006-01-12 11:17:00

Ha. I hadn’t caught that.

Though I wonder if its incidental.
Generally speaking, you want the cover to lead the viewers eye towards the opening of the book, not away from it.

Ben Pieratt, 2006-01-12 18:50:00

True, but looking to the right in this case would mean looking tawerds the opening of the book.

I would love to have a poster of this. Even if you’re not anti-bush it’s a good point about questioning anyone in governement or authority. I also like it cause somethings that politicians do makes you just go “What the…?”

He’s actually looking straight ahead, and facing the viewer’s right.

Very clever, and simple (in a good way); too simple.

Just want to point towards this design for Stockholm Monsters “How Corrupt is Rough Trade?” from 1985.
