Very creative indeed. Now if you haven’t eaten this fruit / veg I’d recommend you go to your local supermarket rightaway. Don’t eat the black seeds in the middle, very very bitter, stay on the soft parameter and the pleasure are all yours.

What kind of fruit is this?
It doesn’t seem like the obvious choice, i think you could achieve the same effect with a peach or softer fruit.

i like it but the typography is all over the place and little unnerving.

It’s better if the designer show “ready to eat fruit” such as bananas.
It’s a very unripe papaya and this is a great image. Even from the thumbnail (the equivalent of seeing the book from the other side of a room) I could tell it was going to be great.
Eat Me
Women’s Erotica. Yep.

daring … and tastfully done.

I meant “tastefully.” :)

No matter which way you spell it, ‘tastefully’ is perhaps altogether the wrong word…

Certainly eye-catching and striking, you can’t deny that. Every way you think of it it simply suggests something.

great idea that was later used in a similar way on the book, “She Comes First” (2004).

Is it a photo? Looks like it might be a painting. Either way I think it works very well.

Interesting…..

Cool…...
I like the fruit. Peach is so passé.
Don’t like the shadow. It’s very distracting to the va-jay-jay.
