Yeah, but would human organs really be listed in the car ad section?
(90% kidding. Awesome cover. Though I really have no idea what else you could possibly do with a title that great.)

Good stuff. As always, I hope the concept carries beyond the front cover.

Now that is one great cover. I think I’m going to buy this book just for the cover.
— Sameer Vasta, 2006-10-25 18:20:00
Excellent!

I like how the ad below the book title is for a Cutlass Supreme. I’m curious to see how the cover flows on the back. Nice use of thirds.

It would be very interesting to see this book in a bookstore – I would probably pick up this book and maybe even flip through it if I found it in a store. The vertical setup is a bit nagging, but it works, it works very well.

intriguing.. I like it

What a minute! That’s my ad! Actually, I didn’t sell my kidney. I gave it away to a stranger.

I agree about the vertical layout being odd – though I liked the idea, this image just seemed very difficult to look at – but I just saw a copy at the 50 books / 50 covers event in SF last night and in person it looks great! The spine is red w/ black type.

This cover reminds me of Hemingway’s six-word short story.
“For sale: Baby shoes. Never worn.”
Well done!
(I do agree that the “Olds Cutlass” is a little too obtrusive, though)
