King of the Food Court

As part of the National Novel Writing Month I will be posting quickly-designed covers for participating authors - a new one every day.

I've always wanted an excuse to use Keedy Sans and I'm positive I've seen it on a fast food menu, so here you go!

Old timers come to him for coffee
Pretty girls talk to him for rest
Plastic trays and paper plates
All the people here got dates
With the King of the Food Court

Dingy! Love this project.

I've always tried my best to avoid at all costs to use Keedy sans. Everything about the face annoys me. But here, under these circumstances, with this title... It works! fun, good work.

Why is there graffiti on the bottom right corner?

I felt like that's something I see at a mall... perhaps the dirty semi-scrubbed patina isn't coming out in this smallish image.

I like how it looks like katchup on cardboard ^_^

can you imagine how awesome this could have been if you didn't resort to the keedy?

I can't say I totally disagree... it was either that or Vag Rounded but I can't seem to get past the funkiness here. Perhaps I'll redo it someday when I don't have five other paying projects to juggle, hah. Jerks! JERKS!

Haha, I was going to suggest something as generic as Arial Rounded, but I figured fuck it. Its got pizazz.

As far as graffiti goes, I wish you'd gone full-on, full-frontal vandal with it. You leave us wanting so much more, Chris. You sly fox.
