this is so sweet.
like how there are 7 lines coming in from the left edge. tho if the lines are to be pillars they are certainly shifty looking. the title actually comes from a rock formation in Jordan. might have been cool to work with, but this is nice too.
and like how it's kinda fiction looking, since much of his publicized persona and tales were fudged for better story.
Vintage is always awesome. beautiful blue with those shades of yellow!

First impression: Lawrence of Arabia, because the rythm of the hierarchy is from author's name to camel. Second impression: Perfect, thanks to camel and "of".

It's nice. But if you look at their site this just doesn't hold up to their amazing breadth of work. I'm wondering the thinking behind mixing Brothers with the top font?

There's a beautiful elegance here. The colors and use of typography are -- as David said -- sublime.

On a logistical level I rather hate the by line... "VINTAGE LAWRENCE." It's confusing to me and takes a lot of prestige away from the author and transplants it with the publisher. It's an egotistical maneuver on Vintage's part, if you ask me. Give the man his initials back and confine yourself to the spine.

Great choice for a post. I really think this hits the spot. Looks like varying shades of yellow tissue paper layered on top of one another.

This captures the subject perfectly. The illustration would have worked well for one of those covers without a title.
