Stag Hunt

Gorgeously clever cover by Keenan.

The description of the book plays it up as a psychodrama, which seemed apparent from the design. I assume the rorschach test/stag was an original piece done by the designer, as it ties in so well to the bloted type.

Nice, though the composition and theme are not so original, the type is quite ordinary,
maybe the lamination ads some cool feeling to it, the way it look’s when scanned – not so impresive.

skuzy for ma bed english :]

Image replaced with better copy… Amazon’s scans seem to be getting worse all the time.

this is a book that I’d probably buy just for the cover, superb

This is dope as hell. I wonder how much of the image (sans type) is actual vs. computer.

i like it much better now that i can see the lines on it!

The better scan make a huge difference, the type look’s a whole lot better and stronger..
Changed my opinion, looks awsome!

The type is very nice, it flows very well with the graphic and the overall theme

Very nice composition!

I wrote the book and loved the cover. think it might have been a bit too sophisticated for the buying public, however, because they changed it for the paperback.

Interesting to hear the views of you visual types!

It reminds me of Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy” video. Or just ink blots in general. I like the use of blood red…

I guess its just me but I enjoy the image alot more then the type treatment.
